Reflection and NonJudgement

I am a BIG fan of oracle cards. I don’t plan my entire life around them, but I do consult them regularly for comfort, confirmation and insight. My favorite deck is Wisdom of The Hidden Realms by Colette Baron-Reid (which this card is from) and I use it for myself and for clients.

This card is very pertinent. We’re reaching the end of the year and it’s the perfect time to sit back, reflect and decide what to do next.

How is life? Is it how you had mapped it out according to your resolutions 10 months ago? Did you lose those 10 pounds? Did you finish your manuscript? Did you make the effort to spend more quality time with your husband or find the perfect business coach?

Take the time now to assess your life and reflect on your authentic self. What is she calling for? It sounds like a whisper, but it doesn’t go away. She’s saying Hello! Please listen. I’m trying to guide you to happiness. Let me.

The card explains it this way: See yourself in the mirror of your life. The Law of Attraction demonstrates that you ARE what you ATTRACT. Good thought attract good things. Fearful thoughts attract scary things. Change your thoughts, change your life.

Soul is everywhere lately.  They have even named a car – Soul.  What does it all mean?  What is Soul? How can we tap into our Soul to transform our lives?

For me, the simple answer is living in SOUL is living without struggle. That’s living without struggling about money, happiness, and YOUR relationships.

Living consciously in YOUR soul is easy because there’s nothing to do but be YOU, listen to YOU, be aware and create conscious choice.

I have spent the last several years getting to know my Soul better and guiding others in this process (via Soul Language). I will spend the rest of my life continuing this process. I’m an infinite. I am enough.  How do I know this?  It’s because I have heard it (and I believe it and I have seen it) from my Soul.

How can you meet your Soul? How can you have a better relationship with you?  What will that mean for your life and your business?  What happens for me is that I’m no longer filled with consuming anger.  I have more appropriate boundaries,  experience my worth more easily (this results in receiving more), and I’m much more at peace in my life.

Below are three ways for you to MEET your Soul and to start developing this profound relationship.

Be Quiet

I’m a Gleek (that means I love Glee).  The other night when my DVR messed up the recording I was sad, yes. And, I was also glad I got to spend more time with me.  Tuning in and turning off. Listening to what my Soul had to say. If you don’t know how to get started listening, just ask the simple question, “What awareness can my Soul share with me today?”

So turn off the TV, the radio, the cell phone, the Blackberry, AND the computer. Now, tune in to YOU. Spend one minute just being still, RELAX and feel what it is like to be YOU!

Roll Down the Window

I’m action oriented.  All that action can sometimes create hardship on my journey.  Are you going through life too fast?  What timeframe are you living in?  Miracles and manifestation are created in the present time. So, get in your car and go for a drive (with the radio off). Roll down the windows and feel the wind as it floats around your skin. Feel what is like to be ALIVE.

See The Beauty

My Soul feels like an amazing day on the beach.  I often can forget that while waiting in line at the post office.  And yet, that is the perfect time to be reminded of the beauty that is all around us.  Take time each day to understand that you are creating the beauty.  That your life is not happening to you.  When you become a co-creator, you can create magic out of thin air.

Make it a point to notice at least one thing a day something beautiful and fully enjoy that beauty.  Do not rush by it. Embrace it. Let it fill your heart.  This will go a long way to help you create, manifest and celebrate!

If you set the intention to have a deeper connection with yourself, everything will show up to help you achieve that desire.

Susan Jeffers, ‘Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway’

As my wise mentor, Louise Hay (love her!) says, ‘The real issue is not the fear, but how we hold the fear.‘ Meaning, the fear is in your head (unless you are in physical danger right at this moment).

Once you realized it’s in your head, you can choose how you deal with it: from a position of power, or from a place of helplessness.

• “I am a failure.” vs “I can do it.”
• “I can’t afford it.” vs “I deserve to be happy and I will do what it takes.”
• “Nothing ever works out.” vs “I am always going in the right direction.”

You can choose! You can choose! You can choose!

What a great day #1 for the Emergency Mindset Makeover telesummit!

“Stepping into business is a healing environment.” I couldn’t agree more! All of your mindset stuff will come up when you’re launching a business. The fear of not being good enough, the fear of having the change, the limiting belief that people don’t care what you have to say…it all shows up. That’s why it is so important to master your mindset!

Jennifer also mentioned being aware of where she created failure for her self (hello, self sabotage!). The missed emails, the potential clients you never get back to, the need for a perfect blog post before you ever hit ‘publish’ it all halt your progress and actually further enflames your fear. I love how she said, “Take every step as it comes. Don’t create a story before the story has started.”

One last favorite moment is her mantra, “I know I am loved and supported and provided for. I’m going to trust this.”

Suzanne Doyle-Ingram

She said that her main fear at first was that she didn’t know what she was doing, and that people would be able to tell. Yep, feeling like a fraud shows up in even the most successful people! I felt a lot better when she shared that fear.

She deals with it by remembering to laugh and not take herself too seriously.
It is okay to make mistakes! Sometimes, it’s even healing…I make mistakes daily. And I laugh, pick myself up, dust myself off and continue on my way.

Suzanne also talked about how to know if it’s intuition or fear. We decided together that, “Is this a good fit for me, right now.” Is a great question to ask. Then, pay attention to what comes up. Your body and your heart know what is right for you!

One last quote that I loved was, “Everyone has the same amount of minutes in a day — it’s up to you how you spend them.”
I Loved that!

DeDe Murcer Moffett

Success used to be the house, the cars, the money…but DeDe was an alcoholic who hated her job. In 2007 she ‘snapped out of it’ and started to create her REAL definition of success: doing what brings her joy and what inspires her.

We also talked about the importance of being spiritual AND moving when opportunity comes your way. I call it ‘Pray and move your feet.’ DeDe says that doors will open, and you have to walk through them! Isn’t that the truth?

The self sabotage will get you though! Often, people like to stay in the dream. The dream of being an author, running a marathon, owning her own business…but it’s too scary to actually do it. What is the belief behind that? Why are you afraid to try? Maybe this isn’t really want you want after all?

I loved this entire interview. We laughed a lot. I think my favorite moment was at the very end when she said, we aren’t all skippidy-do-dah-ing through life. Everyone has pain. Each person has her own journey, some just wear their pain better.
