Oct. Premium Call: It’s not about the food
I don’t know where the month of October went! Crazy how time is flying by.
I need to remind you that the next Premium Membership call will be sent out on October 25. It was supposed to be live, but I’ve over-scheduled myself, and to be honest the recording quality is just sooo much better when I record using my sound software rather than with the bridgeline.
Another reminder:
This is the last month for my Readers to become a charter member for only $10 a month. The price DOUBLES to $20 a month on November 1, 2010 for any new members.
There are 2 reasons for this:
- I like to reward those who take action
- AND because over the next few months the Authentic Self Premium Membership is going to be made over. Details will roll out slowly, but with this price change, the value will also increase. I’m giving those interested in joining us for the ride a chance to do it a half price if you join today for $10 a month!

Byron Katie–I’m too fat
A friend of mine shared these videos a couple of months ago and I resonated so strongly with them that I knew I had to share with you. Of course I forgot about them until recently when I realized that they were a perfect fit for my upcoming Happiness & Self Premium Membership call (these videos also go very nicely with several topics in my “Letting Go” Premium Series, starting in August.) I invite you to join us as we discuss self esteem, self love and self discovery on July 19! Learn more at http://kimberlyenglot.com/being-the-perfect-sized-you/
Talk about getting it…You are the perfect sized YOU!!!
If you are unhappy regarding your own physical appearance, take the time to watch these videos! Take to heart what Katie has to say. (Part 2 is my favorite–“You’re not too fat to be you…and in a perfect Universe, someone has to be you!” Love it!!!– but make sure you watch Part 1 first or it won’t make as much sense)
Byron Katie: I’m too fat. Parts 1 & 2
Let It Go…
Based on feedback I got from my latest How Can I Help You? survey, I’ve created the next series for the Premium Membership calls (view previous call topics here)! I noticed a lot of people are struggling with fear and being weighed down (figuratively and literally). Most wanted more information on being happy with their bodies, as well as letting go of being afraid of what other people think….so to combat those predicaments, I’m creating the Let It Go series!
Release yourself from the prison of:
- Worrying about what other people think of you (learn that it’s none of your business)
- Believing what your inner critic is yelling, (don’t believe everything you think)
- Needing utter perfection in your life so that you can continue the facade of happiness (no Martha Stewart’s allowed)
More details will come in the coming months, but starting in August 2010, Premium Members are guaranteed to learn how to let the junk go! See the basics below.
4 Part Series: Let It Go!
- … What other’s think. How to stop caring and start living!
- … Excess weight. How to finally be happy where you are, and watch the weight fall off as a “side-effect”!
- …“Emotional baggage.” How to release the “junk” you’ve accumulated from past heart-ache, disappointment and failure.
- … Perfection. When and where “good enough” is good enough!
If you’re interested in ANY of the topics above and need information you can quickly and easily apply to your own life, make sure you stop by the Premium Membership page and check out exactly what Premium Membership means for you and how you can join us for less than a fast-food meal each month! (Hurry so you don’t miss out on that Charter Members pricing, the monthly fee WILL GO UP).
Being the perfect-sized you
I know that weight and dress size is a contention for a lot of women, and that we’re not supposed to focus on the numbers. But that scale (and the dressing room mirror) doesn’t lie…or does it?
Keep in mind that you have a pre-conceived notion about what you look like. You look in the mirror and probably don’t see the same thing that other people see when they look at you.
Because of that very thing, you need to lose the weight in your HEAD before it comes off your body. I know because I gained a lot of weight after I got married (25 lbs on my relatively small frame), and lost 35lbs 6 months later…and even though I was smaller, it wasn’t enough. Being in the 130′s should have been perfect. It was my goal…but I was still of “fatty mindset” because it wasn’t good enough. That “fatty mindset” took me back up 10 lbs, still in a normal healthy range and the weight I’m currently at, I am more comfortable here because this is where I remain and I am happy with it.
Which takes us back to my main point, you can by “skinny” according to someone else’s standards and “fat” according to your own. It’s all about perspective and perspective is something you have COMPLETE control over. Weight goes up and down normally (to a certain extent–I believe approximately 5 lbs) but your thoughts on what you look like don’t change as easily. Ask anyone who has dramatically changed their appearance or lost a lot of weight (more than 50 lbs), the mindset is harder to get over than the weight.
I am sharing some tools to help you in my next Premium Membership call on July 19, 2010.
You can join us and find out:
- The #1 thing you can do right now to change how you feel about your body, even if you think you need to lose weight
- How to ACT THIN when you feel frumpy and ugly
- 7 Easy Steps to IMMEDIATELY activate your confidence (great for those situations when you need to fake-it-to-make-it)
- Abraham’s take on health and weight loss (gotta get some Law of Attraction perspective in there
) - And of course, much more.
This call is the 4th and final part in my Happiness Series and is available ONLY to Premium Members (luckily, it’s really affordable and you get access to the rest of the series to help you find harmony in Health, Career and Wealth too, for the price of ONE MONTH’s Membership!)
I’ve taken a lot of the content from my Perfect-Sized You action guide: Eat, Shrink and Be Happy. You can get the total scoop on “authentic weight loss” at http://eatshrinkandbehappy.com
Success = Passion + Intensity + Opportunity
I subscribe to Success magazine. It’s a fantastic resource, full of inspiration articles and stories.
I was reading about Gillian Michaels (the trainer for the Red Team on the Biggest Loser) and she has a lot of things to say about success, health, wealth and being authentic. Something really struck me, though, and I really had to share some of her insights.
Gillian’s Formula for Success (according to me)
“I opened myself up to the opportunities that came my way, and I pursued them with passion and intensity. And when you do that and you stay open, then you allow those opportunities to manifest in ways that they are meant to.”
Oh my goodness! A women aligned with my own self. What a great way to describe how the Law of Attraction works. She also said this:
“Do you see failure as a validation that you’re worthless, or do you see failure as an entry point for learning so you grow stronger and wiser and better? And do you see failure as an integral part of success? Taking ownership of the state of your life, you’re empowering yourself to change it in any way you choose.”
Again, thank you, Gillian…I couldn’t agree more!
